This lovely house nestles in the centre of the beautiful village of Daglan, with shops, restaurants and the Ceou river all at walking distance. The house benefits from its private garden, pool and parking - a rare advantage in a Dordogne village! Imagine lying in bed in the morning and sending the kids to fetch the croissants!

The front door opens onto an entrance hall which in turns gives access to:
- A spacious living room with wooden floors, leather sofa and armchairs, coffee table, lamps and the all important wood burning stove for extra comfort and warmth in low season.
- An open plan fully fitted kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
- An independent dining room with solid wooden dining table seating 6
- A ground floor double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe
- A bathroom with bath with shower over and washbasin
- A separate toilet
- A washing machine is situated under the stairs for your convenience.
A flight of wooden stairs leads from the hallway up top the first floor and opens onto:
- a large sitting area with TV and DVD player (TV for DVD only) and sofa bed
- A second double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe
- A twin bedroom with two single beds, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe.
- A second shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet
Although the house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, it is most likely that you will spend most of your time outside!

Summary: The house is located at the centre of a very pretty village with good amenities and 3 places to eat including a lovely Michelin rated restaurant. We felt at home and enjoyed the garden and pool. The house was a little dated but had everything we needed. The weather was very hot and despite excellent fans the bedrooms really could do with air conditioning or mosquito netting to allow windows to be left open at night. The stairs were a little tricky when carrying luggage and we were surprised that we had to make up the beds with the linen provided on arrival. We had a problem on arrival logging on to the WiFi but our host was very responsive and came in person to sort it out. Overall a great stay and we recommend this property.

Summary: Perfect place to stay. Property is clean and outdoor area is amazing surrounded by beautiful countryside. We loved our stay here and the short walk into Daglan where there is a choice of 3 restaurants to eat in. It is a short drive to a number of fantastic places to visit in the stunning Dordogne region. We’ll be back!!

Summary: Perfect location in a beautiful village but also private and adjacent to woodland. Excellent base for visiting Domme, Sarlat, Beymac etc. the restaurant in the village ‘Le Petit Paris’ was excellent and also allowed the dog to join is. Thouroughly recommend this lovely property

Summary: We had a really brilliant week here, the location is beautiful and convenient for this lovely area of France and it's a real bonus that the boulangerie and shop are so close by to get fresh pastries and bread each morning. The outside area and pool were our favourite bits, it's just so peaceful and the pool is a really good size. We would love to come back some day ☺️

Summary: The villa was wonderful and the pool and garden made the holiday for us. Perfect location - not overlooked yet a two minute walk to the boulangerie, 8-8 and two excellent restaurants. We enjoyed some great days out in this beautiful area and would come again at the drop of a hat. Highly recommended

Summary: We had a lovely calm relaxing holiday in a beautifully quiet location in the heart of Daglan We would have liked to have seen some steps/handrail to support getting out of the pool and also perhaps some sort of basic welcome pack of essential items ready for our 4-30 pm arrival. Other than this we thought the house was perfect for our needs. Thank you

Summary: Good location within lovely village ,restaurants and shops meant we didn't have to go elsewhere . Outside space very nice and we only went inside the property to prepare food and sleep !.Good walking from village and well signposted.Many places to visit nearby.
